About

Paula Bronstein is an internationally acclaimed photojournalist with over 30 years in the business. Originally from Boston, Paula worked for newspapers including The Hartford Courant and The Chicago Tribune before moving to Thailand in 1998 to cover the Asian region including Afghanistan and Pakistan. During her illustrious career Paula has witnessed natural disasters, conflict, political unrest and the extremes of the human condition. She has judged World Press Photo, Pictures of the Year International and the White House News Photographers Association contests, has taught workshops and exhibited at galleries worldwide. Paula was employed as a senior staff photographer with Getty Images for more than 10 years. She has just made a move back to freelance and is being represented by Reportage by Getty Images.
